Preparing for the Cyberfair competition is very hard. We got to do lots of research, on-field activities, video shoots, photo shoots and especially designing the web page. For me this experience is once in a lifetime because not all of the sections in our school can participate in the said competition. We are lucky that our section (3 Mapagpakumbaba), and 3 Mapagmalasakit could join the competition, with the combined teamwork of our sections, we had a great time doing our project and most of all we had the time to know each other better. In our project our topic is the diplomat hotel, some of our groupmates including me, had never been gone to diplomat. When we first went to the place to take some photos of the place there was a great joy because finally I’ve been into diplomat, the place where others consider it as creepy. Based on our experience there were no ghosts that disrupted us in our work. We also invited some of our friends that doesn’t belong to our group and the pictures that were taken was even uploaded in Facebook and because of that our teacher, Sir Vincent Tabor, eventually reminded us to have him known that we were going to that place so that if something happens to us he knows where to find us (how sweetJ). We learned from that mistake, we learned that if we would go to a place to make a project, proper authorities must know it first before we proceed to our venue of project making.
Another good thing from the project is that we developed unity among ourselves; we can’t finish the project with one only who is working on that. Even if we didn’t have much time on working with the videos, we still had time to accomplish it before the said deadline of making those videos. We also had enhanced our skills in HTML, CSS, and Photoshop.
This Cyberfair Experience is a thing that will be memorable to me and even if we won’t win, at least we had a great time and we can’t buy that experience we had during the making of our project. We learned many values and most especially the unity among us.
